One of Turkey's most visited historical treasures, the Ancient City of Ephesus consists of various parts such as Çukuriçi Mound, Ayasuluk Hill, the Ancient City of Ephesus, and the House of the Virgin Mary, each of which is on the UNESCO "List of World Heritage Sites". The Ancient City of Ephesus, one of the largest and most powerful cities of antiquity, produced many philosophers and scientists such as Heraclitus and Hermodorus in its long history. Located in the center of Izmir, Agora open-air museum, a historical treasure that you can easily visit, is located in Basmane district of Konak district and is also known as Izmir Agora. In addition, Kordon Boulevard, Kadifekale, Izmir Clock Tower are places where you can have a good time.

Izmir will make your trip interesting with its historical and cultural values in the city center as well as its natural camps on the outskirts of the city. The favorite time pass for locals and tourists is the beach of Sazlıca, which offers clean water and a sandy shore. Food
With its historical buildings, tourist attractions, and natural beauty, Izmir on the coast of the Aegean Sea is well known. Its culinary and traditional dishes are also very famous.
You can taste famous İzmir dishes in restaurants and cafes in the markets of the city center. While strolling through the streets of Izmir, you can have a lunch break or a nice dinner during/after sunset, or you can find fast food delicacies that you won't want to miss from your trip. Generally, as we speak about Izmir cuisine, the dishes that come to mind are boyz, Derek, kuru, Izmir bomba, cold mushrooms, kokorech, Shambala dessert, Izmir meatballs, grilled fish, snacks, mastic cookies, kopanist cheese, and checked bost.

When talking about shopping and especially souvenirs in Izmir, the Historical Kemeralti Bazaar comes to mind. Thousands of shops in the bazaar feature original souvenirs specific to the city. The Clock Tower, the symbol of the town, has a leading role in the designs of souvenirs. You may present your friends and relatives with different figurines, magnets, or drawings of the tower. In the meantime, while shopping, you can rest with Turkish coffee in Kızlaragaşı, try great fish dishes, or the famous Shambala dessert at the marketplace. Not only that but also in Izmir, there are shopping malls with nearly everything to buy, from clothes and other necessary things and accessories.
